Now a days there are thousands of network companies out there.  Some companies offer only one product and some offer many different kinds of products.  Which is better to join?  It may seem that the more products a company offer the more people will attract, however, that is not the case.

Think about what happen when people are encountered with many choices?  For example, if there was an nutritional product vendor who sales only two different packs of vitamins, and another vendors has ten different vitamin packs.  People have higher chance of buying vitamins from the lesser vitamin vendor because it is easier to choose from, while the one with many different kinds have less chance of people buying because most people are indecisive and at the end they buy nothing.

When we are young, we have no responsibilities.  Our parents provide us with housing and food.  We go to school and teachers teach us what we need to do when we grow up.  Pretty much our parents and teachers guide us through our first 18 years.  When we hit age 18, things start to change.  We take our own responsibilities.

When we are kids, we blame others if something was wrong.  Nothing was ever your fault.  As an adult, this mind set still persists in most adults.   In this recession economy, many people are lay off and fired by their boss.  Many people blame the government and their boss for what has happen to them.  The truth is you are responsible for our own life.  You are responsible for what has happened or have not happen to you.  In other words, what income earning you have now, what life situation you are in, or your health condition is your responsibility.   The opposite of taking responsibility is making excuses.  We became the victim and then our self esteem and confidence decrease.   Negative feelings and cry for help starts to invade our mind.   We need to realize being sad and angry will not do anything.  Everything is your own responsibility.  Only you can change how you want to live.

Learning to take responsibility is a life skill.  All leaders have this great skill.  By being responsible at a young age we built confidence and self esteem.  If we didn’t learn that at an young age, we can start taking responsibility now.   How we live our lives is in our own hands.  If you are not satisfied with your current state,   change and take charge of your life.  Success is in your hands.

When we make a checklist, once we finished a task, don’t we feel wonderful to check that box.   One of the most important aspects of success is goal setting.   A simple task, but yet only few actually do it.  How many people actually write down their goals?  I’ve asked people about what are their goals, some people have no idea, some people have goals, but they don’t write them down, and few have goals that are written on paper.  Having goals in writing triple our commitment and accomplished them at a faster pace.  Always write down the goals.  When we are little, teachers teach us that anyone can reach their dreams.   Having goals are vital to success.  Remember goals are anything you want to do, be and have.

1. Guide and direct behavior
2. Focus
3. Anticipation
4. Organization
5. Progress

Goals are in three groups

1. Short term-6 months or less
2. Intermediate- 6 months to 2 years
3. Long term goals-Many years

In order to reach our goals, we need to do it step by step.  We need to finish short term goals before jumping to the long term goals.   Short term goals leads to intermediate goals.  Eventually our long term goals will be reached if we follow through with everything.

The decision to be successful is in our own hands. Have a goal, focus, take ACTION!

Many people are excited to learn new things and want to know about everything.   When someone is hype into a great opportunity, their first thing is trying to do what their upline is doing.  However, people are often start struggle to finish anything because they have too much things in their hands.   Many over committed and their focus is lost.

Are you the person that says yes to everyone and everything.  At the end, are you feeling lost with what you are doing?  Not only you are not getting things done, but are very frustrated.  This is a usual occurrence, but people need to learn when to say no and how to prioritize and manage their time.

Have you meant anyone who says yes to everything?   There are two types of people who can’t say no.  One type are people who can’t say no to others and the other type are people who can’t say no to themselves.  People who can’t say no to others are very nice and selfless.  They are willing to help anyone.  On the hand, people who can’t say no to themselves are people who are very creative and always have ideas, but can’t never finish any ideas they had.  Both types of people are great, but both have one problem.  They are lost in time.  They over committed and spread too thinly.  At the end nothing gets done.

It’s true that you can do what your minds are set to do, but not all at the same time.  In order for you to finish your project or anything, you first need to write a “to do list”.  Then the list needs to be prioritized and pick a time in the day to focus doing the most important thing.   For example, there are so many different online marketing to learn and most people try to learn them all at once.   It’s essential to master one thing and then go to the next.

Remember, you can accomplish what you want, but not all at the same time.

When we are young, we dream big and did not think about if it was possible or not.   For example, adolescents are the biggest risk takers.   As we get older and learn about how life really are through our parents and experience, we begin to start fear and worry about things.  Our perception gets narrow and we oppose any change.  People who reach their dreams are flexible and willing to do whatever to get to their goal.  They don’t follow the crowd.  They have a mind that teach them to stay strong and follow through with their goals.  Why is there only the few percent of people are actually rich and stay rich?  Why aren’t the rest of the population getting wealthy?  Here are five reasons why people are not getting where they want to be.

1. Fear: Fear of losing and failing, therefore people don’t even start new anything.  Losers avoid failing.  Failures turn losers into winners.

2. Cynicism: People who are cynic worry about everything.  Emotions has taken over their ability to judge well.  People complain about what they don’t want, but never pursue in what they don’t want.

3. Laziness:  When our brain says “I can’t do it,”or “I can’t afford it,” it shuts our brain down.  For example,  everyone says they are too tired or busy to do exercise.  It will be easier to not do it and just watch tv.  If we see something hard, do we stop and just continue what we are doing or do we challenge it.

4. No pressure:  For most people, we go to work and pay our bills at the first of the month, and then we left with no extra money.  However, this routine creates no pressure because our bills are pay off.  When someone is broke and have ambition, the person will find different ways to get themselves out of the situation.  Majority of successful people have at least fail once.  Failing is a step closer to success.

5. Arrogance:  Not everyone know everything.  The acceptance to learn is an step toward open our mind.  The more knowledge we have the more we can succeed.  Some people believe what they learn in school is enough and won’t learn anything new.  Like the old saying, “we can’t teach an old dog new trick.” Educating ourselves is lifelong journey.
