Now a days there are thousands of network companies out there.  Some companies offer only one product and some offer many different kinds of products.  Which is better to join?  It may seem that the more products a company offer the more people will attract, however, that is not the case.

Think about what happen when people are encountered with many choices?  For example, if there was an nutritional product vendor who sales only two different packs of vitamins, and another vendors has ten different vitamin packs.  People have higher chance of buying vitamins from the lesser vitamin vendor because it is easier to choose from, while the one with many different kinds have less chance of people buying because most people are indecisive and at the end they buy nothing.

There are always exception to the rule, but for most part too many decisions leads to indecision.  Having a single product based line was advantageous in many ways…

It created PERFECT focus and momentum throughout the company because every single distributor, was dealing with the same product.  All the conference calls, all the trainings, all the calls, and all the website were about one single product.  New distributors join knowing what product to promote and what tools to buy.  Every distributor and every team were on the same page.

Focus is destroyed when there are too many tools, products, and trainings.

Recruiting uses the same philosophy.  I’ve always had a saying in this business when it comes to the sponsoring process… “People will only choose from the options you give them”.   For instance, a company has three different starter plans 1, 2, 3.  Of course, the lowest plan will cost the least but it won’t get anywhere in the business.  So instead of telling the prospect to choose between the three plans, just tell them to choose plan 2 or 3.  This means more volume for your business and more success.

Just remember… YOU dictate the terms. Your prospects can only choose from the options YOU give them.
